Broken Sanyo Xacti

the problem is with the lens cap, when you put it on it is hard to get off but today i went to take it off and the whole front of the camera came apart and will not click back together, it looks like you can push it back together if you hold down the top while doing it but when i do it just comes back apart, has anyone ever had this problem? Did sanyo offer to help? Im not sure where to go to get help from them.
