Where am I going to convert and transfer Hi8 tape to a digital format to put on my computer?

I have a Hi8 tape for my camera and recorded my newborn birth of it. The camera is a digital camcorder, but I know that you can take anywhere to transfer it to a computer. Analog to digital format. I can not buy anything because I do not have money to buy it lol. Can I bring a photographer? Where can I take to do this?

It would be cheaper to buy a converter from analog to take somewhere, and the converter (about 50.00) would be a gain time. I glare and I connect my old analog camcorder or VCR connected to it and download it to your computer, unfortunately, when going from analog to digital so does lose some quality. Another thing is check your cable company, sometimes offer a transfer service, again this may cost some money.
