That is their biggest concern with the environment? Do you know how digital TV? Lol. It still requires a lot of power to transmit both analog and most of the time. What's new high-definition cameras, the new equipment to transmit and process, new TV and so on. That's more of a blow to the environment that the transmission energy consumption.
