What is the print size can be obtained from a 2 megapixel camera?
For a 2 megapixel camera, which is the size of the picture you can get? Similarly, what about a 3-megapixel camera, 5 megapixel camera and so on?
You can get any size printoutfrom these cameras (in theory). In practice it is a question of quality. Assuming that your print has a ratio of 10/15 and the pixel size is P, the line of ler pixels you will get is sqrt (15/10 x P). To get a good impression of this should be at least 200 pixels per inch. For 2 megapixels, this means about 1700 pixels or 8.5 INCES, 3 megapixel 2120 INCES pxiles or 10.5, for 2700 digital still images or 14 inches. Note that in practice gOdd printing software is extrapolate real camera images, and finally, for good prints in larger sizes. Besides the actual image quality will impact how a print will look like, ie a picture of 2 m of an expensive professional digital camera look much better than the same image of a cheap mobile camera the same size, simply because of the quality of the captured image.
