What is the best point and shoot digital camera to buy today?

I am looking to buy a good digital point and shoot camera that is easy to use and easy to carry. The price is not a problem. I'm looking for a good camera that can provide good quality pricture good light and bad.

When you say, "easy to wear," I will use the bag as a testing ground. If you do not fit in a pocket, not the camera you are looking for. For point and shoot cameras, I like Canon, the better, and do a few models for consideration. I bought the SD900 for my pocket camera and I love it. It is still available, but has been upgraded to the SD950-IS. "I bought a SD700 IS for my daughter for 34 years and this has been replaced by the SD850-IS. The SD900 and SD950 IS-have sensors larger and I think the best picture, but the SD850-IS is still decent. This is a side by side on my SD900 and SD700 for my daughter, is showing the same item the same day. You can see the difference if you see this full size, as described in the picture. The SD850 IS – image can be a little better, but I doubt it would be a very noticeable difference. http://www.flickr.com/photos/samfeinstein/944309888/ The SD950-IS is 12 MP camera and could do well with that many pixels on the sensor, but the "is" is more significant. Let your budget decide. For my money, I like the SD900 as my best, but the "EN" in the SD850-IS and zoom may be more to your liking. They cost about the same. The SD950 IS-shows Priced at $ 450, but I have not read an actual review yet. Very well – here you go – let's read this, both for the first time http://www.steves-digicams.com/2007_reviews/canon_sd950.html "If the maximum performance from an ultra-compact is what you are looking for, then this is the camera for you."
