Canon D40 or Canon Rebel XSi or Canon Rebel XTi?
Which of these three are best for starting a professional photographer? I want to be able to macro, infrared and other basic types (such as portrait and landscape). I mainly want something small to start with and how can I make money I plan to upgrade. Lenses are also important … I rather one of the cameras have the ability to do more with less objective (ie cheaper too!) thanks! also what is the difference between them less investigated little things like batteries, accessories, etc?
XSi bought a week ago as a replacement for my Digital Rebel 5 years old. I can experience the differences clearly. It is lighter and much faster. The speed Start conditions and shot-to shot, as well as auto-focus is amazing. It is mostly dead. This camera is much lighter especially for someone used to the original Digital Rebel. I was not greatly impressed with the goal of the kit although it has received excellent reviews. I'm still playing with it. My Canon 28-105 produces sharper images than the target the kit. However, this camera is definitely a step above the older digital rebel. Compared to the XTi, the 3-inch LCD screen and the preview in vivo is an important improvement. Spot metering is a big advantage. I am very pleased with this camera.
